Real World Evidence Intern - PhD

We are looking for PhD students majoring in Health economics, outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, health policy, medical sociology, medical anthropology, implementation science or a related field for a 12-week internship role at our Wilmington, DE site from May 18 2026 to August 7 2026.

Position Description:

  • Champion the development of the Scientific Narrative and Evidence Generation Strategy to support articulation of clinical and economic value of our products
  • Proactively and independently contribute to research planning process and resolution of complex issues, especially if they affect market access decisions and evidence for product
  • Serve as observational research expert within TA as it relates to all data evidence to support payer and HCP interactions
  • Support the delineation of the patient journey by developing a thorough assessment of the treatment landscape
  • Support delivery of evidence that challenges the clinical inertia to improve patient outcomes

Position Requirements:

  • PhD students majoring in Health economics, outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, health policy, medical sociology, medical anthropology, implementation science or a related field
  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare system and its changing needs for health economic and payer analytic information
  • Leadership skills and problem-solving capacity as demonstrated by ability to evaluate threats and opportunities for evidence generation strategy
  • Well-developed conceptual and integrative thinking with capability to access internal and external resources for advisory input
  • Able to implement research projects, including engaging with key stakeholders with a high degree of autonomy
  • Experience with quantitative modeling and scientific communications is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional groups across countries and regions
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • Ability to report onsite to Wilmington, DE 3 days per week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
  • Compensation range: $48 per hour
